What is a time zone map, and why a translator needs it? Let’s answer this question briefly.
The idea behind multiple time zones is to divide the world into 24 15-degree slices and set the clocks respectively in each zone. All of your translation clients and foreign colleagues in a given zone set their clocks the same way, and each zone differs from the other by one hour. A time zone map will help you to be in sync with your clients from different countries and find a middle ground by scheduling phone calls, online meetings, and setting deadlines.
